Privacy policy

This policy covers the mandalamed.com website. Health information from your care at Mandala Medicine & Wellness is covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices, which you receive at the clinic and can ask for at any time.

What the website collects

• The contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and your message. It is emailed to the clinic and kept in the website’s database at our web host.
• The email lists: your email address for the newsletter or the last-minute openings list, kept by our email service and used only to send those emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• The website guide (chat): what you type is handled by the open source AI model chain behind the website guide so it can write an answer, and the conversation is saved in the website’s database so we can follow up.
• Visits: see Analytics, below.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits: the pages viewed, taps on Book, call, email, directions and links to other sites, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. It sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_WJEL6882G3. We do not use it for advertising: Google signals, ad personalization and data sharing are off, and we keep Google’s data retention at its shortest setting, two months.

Some pages are never measured, including our pages about pregnancy and postpartum care, therapy and mental health.

Your choices

The Privacy choices link at the bottom of every page lets you allow analytics or turn it off. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a no and Google Analytics never loads. Visitors in Washington are not measured until they choose Allow. Google also offers a browser add-on that opts out of Google Analytics on every site.

What we never do

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. The website carries no advertising pixels.

• Ulric.Studio, which built and runs the custom website system, its open source AI model chain and its security.
• Our email service, which sends the newsletter and the last-minute openings list.
